How Do You Define 21st-Century Learning?

I found this article on the website Education Week and it discussed 21st Century Learning. What makes this particular article unique is it draws upon different credible sources to get an idea of how they are viewing this type of learning. Some of the people that share their opinions are:

  • Barnett Berry
Founder and CEO, Center for Teaching Quality

  • Sarah Brown Wessling
2010 National Teacher of the Year

  • Karen Cator
Director, Office of Educational Technology, U.S. Department of Education

  • Steve Hargadon
Founder, Classroom 2.0; Social Learning Consultant, Elluminate

Clearly all of these people can be seen as excellent sources for commenting on this subject. They all have strong positions in one way or another within the education community. As a student preparing to go into the classroom, I am more likely to trust what they have to say because they have the experience to back up their points. Really a great article, take a look and feel free to leave some comments on what you thought.
